LOVE your corn video. I just posted about corn last night (www.lazycookcrazycook.com). I wrap mine in bacon (mmmm, bacon) and grill it in foil. No need for butter or salt and it’s deeelish. But i’m trying yours tonight. Thanks, and ole’!

Keep the sweet corn sweet & healthy…why do you need mayo on such sensational food? I did grow up in an agricultural community and spent much of my youth in a corn field working for Cornell University…roasted corn from a big bomb fire…keep it sweet and limit the fat please…all natural flavor is all you need…we used salt and some melted butter…thank you!

Elote is awesome. Definitely my favorite way to prepare corn. I’d recommend some cotija anejo to go one there as well, and leaving the stalk end on the corn if you can to work as a handle.I don’t have access to a grill, but I make my under the broiler and it works great.

Let’s face it, at this time of year all the corn in farmer’s markets is food for the gods.http://savvysavingbytes.com/2010/07/a-splurge-feeds-the-soul/With boiled corn part of my DNA, I rarely venture into other cooking methods. But I might take a stab at that mayo idea.

Yum, this was fabulous. The mayo really takes it to a whole new and unexpected level. Everyone should be able to indulge once in a while. Also, Mr. Bittman: I had previously inquired about possibilities to work with the Food section (in any capacity) before I left for a semester in France in January. I’m back in the USA and am still as eager as ever to do anything related to food and writing. I go back to school on Auguest 27, and I’ll resume writing recipes and reviews for the Yale Daily News. Let me know if anything is possible! maria.yagoda@yale.edu

That lime/mayo/chili powder combination was delicious, even on boiled corn. Thank you!
