Memorial Day weekend is famous for BBQs and sales. I figured I’d make things easy on myself this year and just combine the two. My new Kindle Single, Bittman’s Kitchen: What I Grill and Why, is now only $1.99 (used to be $2.99.) It’s a collection of my very best grilling recipes; sort of like a roadmap for how to eat your way from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I can almost smell that charcoal now. . .

Ouch. Early adopter by a few days and I paid more?
I little perturbed that I bought this just a few days ago and it’s now 33% less expensive? Nice way to award early adopters. I’ve asked Amazon for a refund. Not sure I’ll re-buy even thought it was a gift for my husband.
Whatta buncha cheapskates! You’d stiff Mark for one stinkin’ devalued inflated 2011 U.S. dollar bill? Shame on you.
@vadoug I don’t take ‘stiffing’ a great like Mark lightly. I own most of his books and truely love them and what he is doing for food and my life. But I didn’t get a warm fuzzy feeling after I made my purchase on this book and now the price is dropping. This should have been a Bittman NYT Blog posting not a paid ebook.
Well, the good new is Amazon is refunding my money. The bad news is my husband has to remove the item off his Kindle and I have to repurchase the book. Amazon will refund purchases of eBooks within the first 7 days.
Any chance that us nook owners will get a chance at ownership?
