Starting this afternoon I’ll be posting one of my recipes every weekday at 4:30 (New York time). I’m calling it “Dinner with Bittman.” While it’s not always dinner (breakfast, desserts, breads, you name it, are all fair game), it’s always good.

sigh. I was hoping this will be "how to win a dinner with Bittman"
By the way, I made your ginger rice with fried egg dish last weekend and loved it. Added cumin seeds and red pepper flakes and used scallions instead of leeks because that’s what I had. Delicious!
I too was hoping this was about actually having dinner with Bittman (the person). *sigh* Oh well, I shall have to content myself with the chosen dinner selections.
I third thought we would have a chance to having dinner with Bittman lol but this seems fun too. Thanks for posting recipes! Looking forward to trying them out
Ditto! Looking forward to the recipes though.
Looking forward to it….what should I bring?
Unlike the authors of the first few comments, I did not assume this meant I would actually be having dinner with Mark Bittman. I correctly assumed it was a theme for posts.
Ditto to dinner in person. I think in every city you visit on book tour you should have dinner w/a "follower" and I’m volunteering to be your host/guest in St. Louis. OK?
And here I thought you were flying me up to NYC!!
Looking forward to your first dinner idea posting.
Bring it on! That is all I have to say about "Dinner with Bittman!"
