Dinner with Bittman!

Starting this afternoon I’ll be posting one of my recipes every weekday at 4:30 (New York time). I’m calling it “Dinner with Bittman.” While it’s not always dinner (breakfast, desserts, breads, you name it, are all fair game), it’s always good.

sigh. I was hoping this will be "how to win a dinner with Bittman" :) By the way, I made your ginger rice with fried egg dish last weekend and loved it. Added cumin seeds and red pepper flakes and used scallions instead of leeks because that’s what I had. Delicious!

I too was hoping this was about actually having dinner with Bittman (the person). *sigh* Oh well, I shall have to content myself with the chosen dinner selections.

I third thought we would have a chance to having dinner with Bittman lol but this seems fun too. Thanks for posting recipes! Looking forward to trying them out :)

Unlike the authors of the first few comments, I did not assume this meant I would actually be having dinner with Mark Bittman. I correctly assumed it was a theme for posts.

Ditto to dinner in person. I think in every city you visit on book tour you should have dinner w/a "follower" and I’m volunteering to be your host/guest in St. Louis. OK?
